About Me
I’m Sarah, a Canine Nutritional Consultant from Glasgow, Scotland.
My home life is just as animal-centered as my career: I share my space with a lively puppy English bulldog, two senior pugs, five rabbits, and a chinchilla.
This personal passion drove me to help others navigate the complexities of pet care.
Through years of professional boarding, I’ve supported many owners facing the stress of food sensitivities and allergies, providing clear, science-backed guidance amidst the noise of conflicting online advice, and this made me want to go into nutrition the safe and professional way.
My Mission
My mission is to support dog guardians with evidence-based nutrition that is done safely and correctly. I recognised early on that this work carries a lot of responsibility and scientific research, which is why I first completed an Ofqual Level 3 qualification and then applied for my mentorship with the APNC, a professional body with veterinary consultants and other highly experienced professionals.
Through this close network and ongoing CPD, I stay up to date with the latest research so every recommendation is as safe, ethical and effective as possible.

Why Switch To Home Cooking?

An increasing number of pet parents are unlocking the advantages of preparing fresh, homemade meals.
One trend I am increasingly seeing is that many owners want to feed their dogs the very best fresh, high-quality food, but find the cost difficult to sustain long term. As a result, they are keen to batch cook balanced home-prepared meals as a more cost-effective option, while occasionally using a high-quality commercial diet when needed for convenience.
Whether you choose to add fresh food as a topper, serve occasional fresh meals, or fully transition to a home-prepared menu, moving toward real food is a fantastic strategy for elevating your pet's vitality.
With the right guidance, it is possible to create a complete and balanced home-cooked diet using readily available supermarket ingredients.
Benefits of home cooking include:
-
Greater control over every ingredient used
-
Seamless customisation for food sensitivities
-
Ability to avoid harmful fillers and additives
-
Significantly improved long-term health outcomes
-
Increased variety and seasonal produce options

Kind Words from Dog Owners
Sarah is professional, knowledgeable and passionate about animals and has done a fantastic job looking after my golden retriever Daisy since she was a puppy.
I am really careful about who I would leave in the care of my dog.
I trust Sarah 100%, she genuinely adores Daisy, is always pleased to see her and treats her as family.
I love the pup dates which means I can enjoy being away knowing Daisy is being cared for and is happy. The little photo montage and treats she sends home with Daisy is a lovely thoughtful touch. I would recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a trusted dog sitter.

We are so glad to have found Sarah at PN Nutricare! She is absolutely great with my dog Ralph (French Bulldog) who has stayed over several times now and we are booked up for the coming year. Sarah has been great with Ralph, very welcoming and took plenty of time to make sure he settled well. He has several health issues which requires medication and Sarah took the time to discuss and understand. The minute I met her I immediately knew I was leaving my boy in the best hands. He loves his time spent there! The relief I now have to have finally found a home from home for Ralph is immense. As we know it’s very hard to find people like Sarah to trust with our fur babies. Five stars all the way 💫

I’ve not long collected my dog Kobi from Sarah and the experience I had with her has been exceptional! My dog is the definition of Velcro… struggles to be away from me for any period of time and generally struggles with strangers. Within an hour of me leaving, I was receiving updates of Kobi having a blast with Sarah and this continued throughout the time he was with her. I highly recommend Sarah and I’m very relieved to know I can book Kobi in with her when I’m away, and know he’ll be just as happy there as he is at home!
Thanks again Sarah!
